Overview: As the general contractor for this ground-up, seven-story hotel construction project, collaboration began in May 2015 post-bid. Upon selection, we worked with the owner/architect team to identify and assess project delivery risk and weigh value-focused cost options. Permits were secured, initial site preparations were made, and construction of the hotel and outdoor pool began almost a year later in March 2016.

On September 22, 2016, a “topping out” ceremony was held to commemorate the concrete casting of the roof structure. July 2017 the hotel opened for guests. Eleventh hour BDA communications booster systems for emergency response were incorporated in order to meet recent fire code changes. The city’s landscape dictates and the county’s critical storm water management needs presented a challenge requiring intense focus and flexibility to secure the opening.

The newly built Hampton Inn is located in Pompano Beach, FL and is now welcoming overnight guests to its 102-room, seven-story contemporary hotel with heated outdoor pool, fitness and business amenities.
