Overview: The area of Ft. Lauderdale known as Flagler Village is enjoying a renaissance spearheaded by Native Realty. Flagler Village is a 300-acre neighborhood bordered by the skyscrapers of the downtown skyline to the south, F.E.C. Railroad to the west, Sunrise Blvd to the North, Federal Highway to the east, and Broward Blvd to the South. Populated with warehouses from the 1950’s, Native Realty is the development company behind many of the adaptive reuse projects in the community that are repurposing these old structures into neighborhood destinations, such as The Hive. These warehouses are being reimagined into restaurants, bars (both juice and beer), yoga and workout studios, coffee shops, art studios, and so much more.

The Hive is a unique project created especially for locals. This collection of creative businesses features an old-school arcade bar called Glitch, JB & C Juice Bar and Café, Red Pearl Yoga, Bean to Brew, Beer Punx, Arts and Crafts Social Club, and a soon-to-be Italian restaurant. It also houses the Native Realty office, which did all of the leasing for The Hive.
