All projects present challenges, but some are in a class of their own. We’ve earned a reputation for our ability to take on projects that other general contractors would find too challenging.
Our work as retail construction contractors on the Cartier boutique on Palm Beach, Florida’s celebrated Worth Avenue was one of those challenges. Cartier found a location that they felt gave them excellent visibility in this world-class shopping mecca. However, this particular location required us to work around an apartment above the space occupied by an elderly woman. We found a way to suspend and structurally support a portion of this woman’s apartment while demolishing the space below, taking “not disturbing neighbors” to a new level!
The Cartier boutique also included specifications far from the ordinary: An extraordinary bronze entryway, paneled oak interior, and compound radius dome ceilings.
For Sound Advice, a local electronic retailer, we created a modern, high-tech showroom out of a warehouse.
Our work as hospitality contractors on the escalator installation and chilled water system infrastructure work at the Diplomat Resort & Spa were projects that presented engineering challenges, especially as the work had to be done without disrupting hotel operations.
